Graduates earn 1,372 degrees, certificates from NorthWest Arkansas Community College


About 44.1 percent of the 1,372 degrees and certificates handed out by NorthWest Arkansas Community College in 2017-18 were to students in liberal arts and sciences, general studies and humanities programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Bentonville conferred 590 associate's degrees and 15 certificates in liberal arts and sciences, general studies and humanities programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies. Data shows the school gave out 572 associate's degrees in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies, followed by 135 certificates in general health services/allied health/health sciences and 115 associate's degrees in general business administration and management.

The college enrolled 7,715 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
